Crunchy French Toast Recipe
Ingredients:
- 16-18 slices day old bread
- 4 eggs, beaten
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon, ground
- 1 cup orange apricot nectar
- 3 cups corn or bran flakes, crushed
- some butter for frying
Instructions:
1. In a mixing bowl, add in the eggs, salt, orange apricot nectar and cinnamon. Combine and beat well.
2. Dip the bread slices into the egg mixure and dredge thme in fine crumbs.
3. Preheat the frying pan over medium heat and melt 2 tablespoons of butter.
4. Fry the bread slices slowly for 4 minutes on each side until lightly brown.
5. Serve and enjoy!
